The Green Point Lighthouse, Cape Town is an operational lighthouse on the South African coast. First lit on 12 April 1824, it is located on Mouille Point. The lighthouse was the first solid lighthouse structure on the South African coast and the oldest operational lighthouse in South Africa.

Cape Point- Situated at the south western tip of Africa that runs north -south about thirty kilometres at the extreme southwestern tip of the African continent and is a promontory at the south east corner of cape peninsula,the cape point nature reserve is one of the most pristine and unspoiled places on earth ,with dramatic cliffs,pristine beaches and breathtaking views , a mountainous and scenic landform .At this point most travellers take the option of a short hike from the Cape of Good Hope to the Cape Point lighthouse. However, should you not feel up to the short hike or medically unfit, the guide will guide you to the Flying Dutchman Funicular in which you will travel up to the Cape Point lighthouse. (Fee excluded from the tour price.) The Cape Point is the official meeting point of the Two Ocean currents; the Cold Benguela and the warm agulhus currents. Cape point is famous for Dutchmen funicular, old lighthouse and best viewing site of Cape Point.
