Day 3: Huangguoshu – China's Most Powerful Waterfall

Explore the magnificent Huangguoshu Waterfall. Step into the heart of Asia's largest waterfall to feel its overwhelming power. Walk through the Water Curtain Cave to relive the iconic scenes from the classic Journey to the West TV series. Continue to the Tianxingqiao Scenic Area to explore the beautiful water-carved stone forest and Silver Chain Waterfall, or visit Doupotang Waterfall, the filming location for the TV series’ ending scene. After a fulfilling tour, take a ride back to Guiyang.

A huge, lush mountain in the middle of the city—the perfect escape from the urban buzz. Wild Monkeys: Hundreds of playful macaques live freely here. Watch them climb and play, but don't feed them! Hongfu Temple: A peaceful 300-year-old Buddhist temple hidden on the mountainside. Climb up for good luck and quiet views. Qianling Lake: Rent a small boat and paddle around the beautiful lake at the foot of the mountain.
