    Kiyomizu-dera Temple

    Start your journey at the UNESCO-listed Kiyomizu-dera Temple, famous for its wooden stage and panoramic city views. --- Pottery Experience at Zuiko-gama Kiln (40 minutes) --- Immerse yourself in Kyoto’s famed Kiyomizu-yaki pottery tradition with a hands-on session at Zuiko-gama Kiln, a 150-year-old workshop. Craft your own ceramic piece using an electric wheel—no prior experience necessary—and choose from a selection of glazes, including white, lemon, and candy hues. Your work will be fired and can be shipped as a unique keepsake. Important note: The fee covers instruction and equipment only. International shipping and customs fees are separate and vary by destination. Conclude with a gentle stroll along the picturesque Sannen-zaka and Ninen-zaka streets, lined with traditional shops offering matcha treats and artisanal wares.
