Desert Wild Camp is an off-the-beaten-path adventure camp set in the heart of the towering dunes of *Erg Chebbi*, near Merzouga. Designed for explorers and thrill-seekers, this wild desert camp offers a raw and unforgettable overnight experience deep in the Sahara.
Far from the crowds and tourist trails, the camp is only accessible by camel trek or 4x4, making the journey part of the adventure. Surrounded by vast dunes and endless horizons, you’ll sleep in tent or under stars with just the essentials — no Wi-Fi, no distractions, just pure desert magic.
At night, gather around the fire for a hearty Berber meal, listen to desert drums, and gaze at a sky filled with stars. Wake up to the stillness of the Sahara and the first light hitting the dunes — a moment of peace and wild beauty.

1Merzouga
DAY 1 We will meet at Auberge Salama, where you can safely park your car free of charge. From there, you may choose to travel to the desert camp either by camel trek or 4x4 jeep. In both cases, you will be taken to our camp located beneath the biggest dune in Erg Chebbi, Merzouga. Upon arrival, you can climb the dune to watch a breathtaking sunset and enjoy sandboarding down the soft golden sands. Please bring only the essentials for the night—your main luggage will be transferred to the camp by jeep. You will be welcomed with traditional mint tea and a cozy campfire. You’ll have your own private tent equipped with a mattress, sleeping bag, and blanket, or you may choose to sleep under the open stars. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Berber dinner served under the stars around the bonfire, followed by stargazing, music, stories, and conversations with local Berbers. DAY 2 Wake up early and climb the dune to watch the sunrise over the desert. you will be climbing the biggest dune in the Moroccan desert. After breakfast at the camp, you will return to the village by camel or 4x4 jeep—your choice.
