This is not a typical kayak rental or busy tourist lake spot. Our experience includes early-morning transportation to a hidden launch site used only by local fishermen and our certified guides. You’ll paddle at sunrise on a peaceful volcanic crater lake, with no crowds, no vendors, and pure silence. Guided in English and Spanish, this tour blends nature, geology, history, and mindfulness into one unforgettable morning. Ideal for couples, solo travelers, and outdoor lovers seeking a unique connection with El Salvador’s sacred landscapes.
Pickup is included from hotels, Airbnbs, or hostels located in San Salvador, Santa Tecla, and La Libertad beach areas (El Tunco, El Zonte, etc.). Travelers must be ready 10–15 minutes before the confirmed pickup time at the main entrance of their lodging. The driver or guide will arrive in a marked tourist transport van or with an Infini Tours badge. Pickup time and details will be confirmed via WhatsApp one day before the tour. If you’re staying in a gated residence, please wait at the entrance for easier access.
Wait front of the mall, no inside
At Lake Ilopango, travelers will launch their kayaks from a private access point exclusive to our team. A certified bilingual guide will provide safety instructions and accompany the group as they paddle across the calm volcanic waters, witnessing the sunrise from within the crater. Along the way, the guide will share cultural insights and geological history about this sacred lake.
