This private shore excursion from the port of Livorno covers the most popular destinations in Tuscany: Florence and Pisa. The day begins with a short stop in Pisa, long enough to snap some fun photos with the world's most famous belltower, the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The rest of the day will be spent enjoying the Medieval and Renaissance beauty of Tuscany's legendary capital as your driver takes you around to see all the iconic landmarks, after which you'll have time to explore the city on foot.

You will be picked up either at your ship or inside the cruise terminal if you dock at that pier. DO NOT TAKE A SHUTTLE, DO NOT GO TO PIAZZA DELL'ARSENALE! Your driver will be waiting for you in the area designated for private drivers, holding a sign with your name on it.

    Pisa

    After about a forty-minute drive to Pisa, your driver will drop you off right at the Campo dei Miracoli, saving you twenty minutes of walking from where tour buses must park. You will have 30-45 minutes to visit the Campo dei Miracoli (there is no charge to enter the campus and view the monuments from the exterior). Besides the Leaning Tower, the Field of Miracles contains the cathedral, baptistery, and monumental cemetery. If you intend to enter any of the monuments or climb the Leaning Tower, we kindly request that you coordinate the timing with us to not create problems with the day's itinerary.

    Florence

    After a 75-minute drive from the port of Livorno, we'll arrive in Florence. Our adventure begins in Piazzale Michelangelo, high on a hill above the Arno River, where you'll be able to take impressive photos of the spectacular Florence cityscape. In the historic centre, your driver will take you on a little panoramic tour of Florence including Santa Croce, the cathedral, PIazza della Repubblica, Porcellino Market, Piazza della Signoria, and Ponte Vecchio. While traveling, your driver will explain the history of Florence and give you some background information on all the monuments. Then you'll have some free time to explore the city on your own.
