We journey north to the mystical ruins of Ek Balam—an ancient Mayan city shrouded in mystery and power. Unlike more crowded sites, Ek Balam offers a raw, awe-inspiring experience. You’ll wander through majestic temples and ceremonial ball courts, then climb the towering Acropolis—one of the tallest structures in the Yucatán. Hidden within its core lies the tomb of King Ukit Kan Le’k Tok’, surrounded by a breathtaking trove of over 7,000 artifacts—ceramics, coral, conch, and even gold alloy.
