Our English speaking tour guide will take you on a journey through our city, taking in all the sights and showing where Napier came from and what turned our town into the art deco capital of the world. In our airconditioned mini bus, we will show you how the town progressed to a city after the rebuild from the devastating earthquake of 1931. Along the tree lined Prominade, the Marine Parade, to the lookout at Bluff hill, from the Centennial gardens to Pania of the Reef Statue, depicting a Māori maiden, a symbol of the city. Also sightseeing at nearby Ahuriri and the Iron Pot.
This is a great place to look around the Bay and see the country side and get photos.
The statue of Pania is iconic to Napier and is a must see and our guide will explain the Legend of the maiden.
See the gardens that were produced by the city council after the quarry was given back to the city see the waterfall and get some beautiful pictures.
