You’ll visit traditional mulberry gardens, silkworm houses, unraveling workshops, and Cham weaving looms. Try your hand at feeding silkworms, boiling cocoons, and weaving silk — then distinguish between pure and synthetic silk in a fabric exhibition.

Explore the Cham Culture with a look at ancient mulberry trees and the traditional weaving methods used by the Cham people from the 5th to the 15th century. Stroll through a Vietnamese mulberry garden to learn how to select the best leaves and hand-feed silkworms. At the Silkworm Breeding House, gain insight into the silkworm lifecycle, then continue to the Unraveling House to see how silk threads are extracted from cocoons and prepared for weaving.
Continue your journey at Cuu Dien House, where pure handicraft silk from the early 20th century is still preserved in Quang Nam. Feel the original silk threads and witness the weaving process to better understand the effort behind pure silk products. At the Cham Textile House, observe how Champa artisans weave on traditional wooden looms and learn how intricate patterns are made. Then, visit the Hoi An Silk Handmade Embroidery Workshop to see the difference between real and fake silk, and enjoy shopping or tailoring with a wide variety of silk products. After the tour, relax and enjoy lunch or dinner at our on-site restaurant.
