Looking for a cost-effective way to explore Orkney with total flexibility?

This fully private driver led tour is ideal for small groups who want freedom without the price tag of a full guided experience.

Born and bred here, I know the islands inside out (and probably most of the sheep too). I’ll pick you up anywhere on mainland Orkney and drive you in comfort (SUV/4x4, up to 4 adults) to the sites you choose from Skara Brae to the Broch of Gurness, the route is completely set by you. I won’t accompany you inside the sites, but along the way you’ll get plenty of local knowledge, stories, and tips, plus basic translation support in most major languages.

Tours last up to 5 hours and are tailored around your schedule, whether you’re here for a single day or staying longer. And if I’m not available, one of my trusted local team may still be able to help. Want to know more? Just search Historic Orkney online.
