You will get to know the historic center of Puerto Plata by bicycle as if you were a local, strolling through the most iconic and important places.
We start with the colorful street of the umbrellas where you can taste an exquisite local coffee grown in Yaroa, walk the vibrant pink alley, also, get to know the historic Independence Park where you can see the Victorian-style houses and the Cathedral of San Felipe Apóstol. ..
Then, learn about Amber in the famous Museum that was the setting for the movie Jurassic Park, then arrive at the Fire Station headquarters and connect with the colorful street of murals and chichiguas.
Afterwards, walking through the tropical streets you can connect to the Puerto Plata boardwalk, surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean and adorned with beautiful palm trees, so you can stop at the peculiar sign of Puerto Plata that emulates its name “Tacita de Plata”, finishing you will be in Puntilla from Puerto Plata where the San Felipe Fortress is located.
