Start your trek from Nayapul (1,070m) after a short drive from Pokhara. Pass through small villages, cultivated fields, and across suspension bridges along the Modi Khola. Ascend gradually through forests to reach Tikhedhunga (1,540m), a small village nestled among terraced fields. Trekking Duration: Around 4-5 hours.
Begin the day with a steep ascent from Tikhedhunga to Ulleri, a Magar village, with stone-paved steps. Continue through rhododendron and oak forests, passing Banthanti, and gradually climb to Ghorepani (2,850m). Ghorepani is a larger village with guesthouses, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Trekking Duration: Approximately 6-7 hours.
An early morning hike (usually before sunrise) leads to Poon Hill (3,210m), one of the best viewpoints in the region. Witness breathtaking sunrise views of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), and other peaks. Return to Ghorepani for breakfast and then trek to Tadapani (2,630m) through forests and ridges. Enjoy scenic views of mountains and lush greenery along the way. Trekking Duration: Around 6-7 hours including Poon Hill visit.
Descend through forests to Ghandruk (1,940m), a picturesque Gurung village with a rich cultural heritage. Explore the village, interact with locals, and enjoy the traditional Gurung lifestyle. Later, drive back to Pokhara to conclude the trek. Trekking Duration: About 3-4 hours. Drive from Ghandruk to Pokhara takes around 1.5 hours.
Tandem Paragliding in Pokhara: Once back in Pokhara, schedule your tandem paragliding experience The activity usually takes 1-2 hours including briefing and flight time Enjoy mesmerizing aerial views of Pokhara valley and the Annapurna range. After this, we will finally drive and drop you back to your hotel. Tour end.
