Fort Kochi has a long and complicated history of dates, events, conquests and colonizers. The old bungalows, towering trees and sprawling grounds all stood witness through the vast changes from a small village to a fortress, to a bustling trading post to our whimsical town of today. It is my passion to collect stories from the neighborhood elders and relate them to Fort Kochi’s historical timeline. These sprightly anecdotes make it easy for guests to recall their visit to our quaint historical village on the Arabian Sea. Come, be my guest.

The Kochi Stories tour starts from Vasco da Gama Square, Fort Kochi, across from Tower House Hotel from 7:00 am to 8:30 am.

We will be walking around Fort Kochi seeing the Chinese fishing nets, the small fish market, and the beautiful streets with the colonial buildings learning the history and very memorable stories.
