Please note, due to traffic regulations, viewing all floats may not be feasible within the allotted time.

    The sight of the lanterns called Kanto, some reaching up to 12 meters in length and weighing 50 kilograms, lining the main street in a row, is truly a fantastical world. Skilled performers skillfully support the Kanto on their foreheads, shoulders, and waists, creating a breathtaking spectacle as the lanterns sway in the night sky, resembling stalks of rice. It is counted among the three major festivals of Tohoku.
