Meet your guide outside the entrance of Sun & Moon Hostel on Carrer de Ferran, in the Gothic Quarter. The guide will be waiting at the main entrance holding a sign with the tour name. The street is a pedestrian street located between La Rambla and Plaça Reial.

Your first stop is a lively pintxos bar where you’ll enjoy two pintxos of your choice with a drink such as vermouth, wine, or beer while your guide explains the origins of tapas and how they became part of everyday life in Spain. Next, visit the legendary Bar La Plata, one of Barcelona’s most iconic historic bars. Here you’ll taste freshly fried fish and experience the fun Catalan tradition of drinking wine from a porrón, a shared glass pitcher. Continue to Bodega Vasconia, a classic Catalan bodega where you’ll try traditional dishes including Spanish tortilla with bread and tomato, croquettes, and padrón peppers served with sangria.
