The one and only experiential workshop in town that includes actual hands-on contact with the plants. You will harvest your own plant medicine from the Medicine Wheel garden for your smoke bundle.
This one-of-a-kind workshop experience will immerse you in native Appalachian plants as well as exotic plants; their healing properties, folklore and rich history.
You will receive fascinating facts about smoke cleansing practices here and around the world and ways to bring these powerful yet simple rituals into your everyday life.

Meeting and pickup
Come right in when you get here and we will get started.
What to expect
We will start with a smoke cleansing and introductions. We will then go down to the medicine wheel garden and harvest plants for the smoke bundle. I will teach and guide you in ways to harvest plants sustainably and with an earth-honoring mindset.
We will then come back upstairs into the learning space and learn about the plants we harvested as we make our smoke bundles.
We will be exploring themes such as:
Plants and their ancient ritual and ceremonial uses in various cultures around the world.
Sustainable, ethical harvesting and bioregional, place-based alternatives to over-harvested plants.
Offerings according to lineages, ancestors as well as the land we are harvesting from and more.
We will intentionally create fresh smoke bundles. I will provide instructions, string and a charm for you to create your smoke bundle.
We will further discuss ways we may benefit from the medicine of the sacred plants for cleansing, purification, protection & more.
We’ll conclude with a tea ceremony with delicious seasonal herbs from the garden.
