During your safari, you'll descend into the crater's floor, where lush grasslands and a freshwater lake provide a haven for an abundance of wildlife. As you explore this living Eden, you can expect to encounter the famous Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros), along with a diverse array of other animals, including zebras, wildebeests, hippos, and countless bird species. Lake Natron in Tanzania is a surreal landscape, dominated by the red and orange hues of its alkaline waters, teeming with salt-loving microorganisms. The backdrop features the active Ol Doinyo Lengai volcano, sacred to the Maasai as the "Mountain of God." The environment is harsh, with calcified animal remains adding a haunting aspect.
