Join this activity with a local guide who will take you to a wilderness area not very far from Rovaniemi town. While walking in the the forest with snowshoes, you will be able to admire the beauty of the magical taiga forest covered in snow and might also notice tracks of small wild animals. After a nice refreshing walk, sit by the fire and enjoy some snacks and hot juice while the guide tells you more about the Finnish nature and local culture. After the trip you will receive a few photographs of you taken by the guide to remember this amazing experience.

What to expect

Let's explore snowy Finnish forest scenery while walking with snowshoes in winter wonderland. Group size 2-4 people. We will venture to a location not far from Rovaniemi. Perfect for a half-day activity. After a 1.5hrs walk, we will sit by the fire, admire the scenery and prepare some sausages like the locals do. During the trip, the guide will take a few photographs and send them to you as a memory of this trip!
