For lovers of panoramic views and sunsets, we will take you on a private tour to the top of the highest hill in San Salvador, where you will enjoy the sunset and observe how the city is completely illuminated; You will also learn about the history of the mythical amusement park “El Teleférico” that closed in 2001 and today is remembered by many Salvadorans. Book with us and enjoy a fantastic activity that won't take up much of your time, if you don't have much time to go far from San Salvador.
We pick you up at your hotel or preferred location in a comfortable 4x4 vehicle with air conditioning.
We take you to the top of the hill through the coffee plantations of the San Antonio Lamatepec farm, directly to the viewpoint.
Good physical condition is not required for this tour.
We suggest you take the Tour between 3:30 PM and 5:00 PM so you can enjoy the sunset.
You can dress as you wish, we only recommend a light sweater at nightfall.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
We pick you up at your hotel or preferred location in the cities of San Salvador, Santa Tecla, Antiguo Cuscatlán, Nuevo Cuscatlán, San Marcos, Santo Tomas, Panchimalco and Mejicanos. (already included in the price). At the end of the tour we will leave you back at the starting point, or in any other place of your preference within the supported cities.
What to expect
We arrived at Finca San Antonio Lamatepec, a coffee farm where we began the ascent to the top of the mountain. The ascent takes 20 minutes by 4x4 vehicle. Along the way you can enjoy nature and the views; At the top of the mountain we will reach the structure of the former cable car where you will learn about one of the most emblematic amusement parks in El Salvador and its history, as well as delight in the beautiful panoramic view where you will appreciate the entire metropolitan area as well as the volcano. of San Salvador and the majestic lake of Ilopango. The entry cost is already included.
At the end of the tour we will take you back to your hotel, or to your preferred place within the city of San Salvador or cities on the outskirts.
