The elevation of El Pital is 2730 meters above sea level.
Among the activities you can enjoy are camping, exploring wildlife and flora, as well as hiking through its many paths. The camping area is located between the two peaks of the mountain, creating a wind corridor with an enchanting mist that will be your company during your visit to this magnificent destination.
To reach the camping area, you will embark on a 5-kilometer journey through a forest that surrounds you with its natural atmosphere. On your way, you will come across vegetable crops, pine forests and settings adorned with flowers.
We pick you up at your hotel or preferred location in the cities of San Salvador, Santa Tecla, Antiguo Cuscatlán, Nuevo Cuscatlán, San Marcos, Santo Tomas, Panchimalco and Mejicanos. This is the last hike within Cerro El Pital, this hike is of medium-low difficulty and takes us into a small forest, with a pleasant climate and impressive flora; At the end we will reach the cracked rock which is a rock formation separated by a huge crack, which is crossed using a suspension bridge; finally reaching the top of the peña rajada to enjoy an unbeatable panoramic view of a large part of El Salvador, and the city of Ocotepeque, Honduras
Again after lunch time, we will descend the hill towards Río Chiquito, this time passing by the Casa de Las Fresas, a place that serves dishes and desserts made with strawberries that are harvested on the spot. A small tour that will show you the planting process in a summarized way.
If you are still not bored of seeing panoramic views, when we return to San Salvador we will pass through La Palama, Chalatenango, a place with a good altitude and many viewpoints, where you can see the sunset, or have a hot drink in one of the several restaurants. that are on the route.
