This full-day excursion offers an authentic introduction to Amazigh (Berber) culture and the scenic landscapes of the Ourika Valley, located in the Atlas Mountains near Marrakech.
Before reaching the valley, stop at a local women’s argan oil cooperative to learn about traditional argan oil production and its cosmetic and culinary uses, while supporting local craftsmanship.
Continue through the Atlas Mountains, passing Berber villages and riverside scenery before arriving in the Ourika Valley. Enjoy time to explore the valley on foot, walk through traditional villages, and admire the natural surroundings at a relaxed pace as your guide shares insights into local traditions and daily life.
Free time is available to relax by the river, take photos, visit the small local souk, and browse handmade crafts and souvenirs. Lunch at a local restaurant is optional and at your own expense before returning to Marrakech with hotel drop-off.
