In the heart of Manhattan, the busiest city in the world, is the famous Central Park. An oasis from the hustle-and-bustle of the city, the park is known for its beautiful bridges, architecture, lakes, trails, and as a New York City icon in film and television.
In this two hour tour, you will be exploring some of the most famous parts of the most famous park. Discover some of the sights seen in movies like The Avengers and Enchanted, explore sights you would never believe are in a public park (An Egyptian Obelisk? A castle?!), and find beauty in the serenity amidst the chaos of the city.
Every tour is led by a licensed New York City tour guide, trained in history, storytelling, and an eye for wonder, showing you their own individual favorite spots and spinning their favorite tales.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Meet at the corner of 59th St and 6th Av, right in front of the José Julián Martí Statue. Take the N, R, or W train to 5 Av/59 St, or 1 train to 59 St - Columbus Circle.
The tour will end near the corner of 72nd St and 8th Ave. Lee will happily provide directions to your next destination.
