  Kirin Fuji Gotemba Distillery is a renowned Japanese whisky distillery owned by the Kirin Group, set against the breathtaking backdrop of Mt. Fuji. Blessed with pure spring water from Mt. Fuji, a cool average annual temperature of 13°C, and a misty climate, the location is ideal for producing high-quality whisky. The distillery is one of the rare facilities in the world that manufactures both malt and grain whisky, and completes the entire process on-site—from mashing to bottling. Visitors can join a guided tour to learn about the whisky-making process and the distillery’s unique history. Fuji behind the striking red five-storied pagoda, Chureito, and the grand torii gate. This picture-perfect scene, especially popular during cherry blossom season, has become a symbol of Japan itself. Please note: reaching the viewing platform requires climbing approximately 400 steps—but the view is well worth the effort.

  Oishi Park, located on the northern shore of Lake Kawaguchi, is one of the best places to enjoy iconic views of Mt. Fuji framed by vibrant seasonal flowers and calm waters. The lakeside walking path is beautifully landscaped with a wide variety of blossoms throughout the year—lavender in summer, kochia in autumn, and tulips in spring. It's a peaceful setting where travelers can take postcard-perfect photos or simply relax in nature. The park also features a local produce and souvenir shop where visitors can find handmade goods, seasonal fruit, and unique Mt. Fuji-themed items. With its open space, flower gardens, and panoramic views, Oishi Park offers a memorable and calming experience in the heart of the Fuji Five Lakes area.

• Important Notice for Visitors to Arakurayama Sengen Shrine & Chureito Pagoda Please note that to reach the iconic Chureito Pagoda and viewing platform, visitors must climb approximately 398 stone steps. These steps are fairly steep and may be challenging for those with mobility issues or certain health conditions. Comfortable walking shoes are strongly recommended. Take your time and rest as needed during the climb. There is also a sloped walking path (no stairs) that offers an alternative route. While longer, it is more gradual and may be easier for some guests. During peak seasons (e.g., cherry blossom or autumn foliage), the path may be crowded—please be courteous and patient. There are no elevators or escalators available. If you are concerned about the physical challenge, please consult your guide or us in advance.
