    Yatai serve up some of the best local food in Fukuoka . These temporary food stalls are set up every evening across the city and draw crowds of locals and visitors. Typical dishes enjoyed at yatai are Japanese grilled chicken skewers (yakitori), hot pot (oden) and most famously Hakata tonkotsu Ramen. This is a local noodle, the ramen noodles in a pork bone based soup.
