    City Palace of Udaipur

    The City Palace of Udaipur, is an example of the grandeur that the rulers of Mewar enjoyed eras ago, and it still appears to be just as magnificent. The City Palace of Udaipur has a blend of architectural styles and it is located on the Eastern banks of Pichola Lake. The palace is a blend of Rajasthani, European, Chinese and Mughal architecture, making it one of the most alluring factors of Udaipur. The palace complex houses monuments like the Monsoon Palace, Lake Palace, Jagdish Temple, Jag Mandir, and Neemach Mata temple, and it is surrounded by the Aravalli Mountains, giving it a gorgeous background. Built completely with marble and granite, and it also has the beautiful appeal of marble-work, mirror-work, silver-work, inlay-work, wall paintings, murals.

    Jagdish Temple is one of the renowned temples of Udaipur. Located in the City Palace complex of Udaipur, this temple is made in the Indo-Aryan style of architecture. In 1651, it was built by Maharana Jagat Singh, who ruled Udaipur during 1628-53. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu (Laxmi Narayan), the preserver of the Universe. It is celebrated for being the largest temple in the city of Udaipur. The gateway of this temple can be sited at a distance of 150 meters from the Bara Pol of the City Palace.

    The Ahar Cenotaphs are a group of cenotaphs located in Ahar, Rajasthan, about 2 km east of Udaipur, in Rajasthan, India. The site contains more than 250 cenotaphs of the maharajas of Mewar that were built over approximately 350 years. There are 19 chhatris that commemorate the 19 maharajas who were cremated here. The group of cenotaphs is also known as the Mahasati.

    Lake Pichola

    An artificial fresh water lake, created in the year 1362 AD, named after the nearby Picholi village. The lake’s surroundings and several islands within the lake have been developed over the centuries with palaces, marble temples, family mansions, and bathing ghats. The famous Lake Palace (now converted into a heritage hotel) is located in the middle of the lake. Two islands, Jag Niwas and Jag Mandir, are located within Pichola Lake.

    Karni Mata Temple Udaipur

    Udaipur Ropeway is newly introduced and is one of the favorite tourist destinations. Cable car or Ropeway is installed between famous tourist spot Deen Dayal Park on the top of hill near lake pichola and Machhala Hill Top near Karni Mata temple. To enable a large number of devotees visiting Karnimata Temple and other historic sites at Machhala Hill, Udaipur Ropeway is commissioned in June 2008.

    Sahelion Ki Bari

    Built by Maharana Bhopal Singh. Saheliyon ki Bari means Garden of the Maids. This garden area lies in the northern part of the city and has fountains and kiosks, a lotus pool and marble elephants. Each water channel has a distinct sound, and the mingling of these sounds complement the ambiance of the place. There is also a small museum here. Sahelion Ki Bari was created for a group of 48 young women attendants who accompanied a princess to Udaipur as part of her dowry.

    Jag Mandir is a palace built on an island in the Lake Pichola. It is also called the "Lake Garden Palace". Jagmandir isle is an imposing structure that is assembled by tourists in huge numbers. Its construction is credited to the Maharanas of the Sisodia Rajputs of Mewar kingdom.
