This day is for relaxation and safari briefing, where you’ll go over the itinerary, safety guidelines, and expectations for the week ahead, with views of Mount Meru setting the tone for the adventure.

Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Enjoy a full game drive along the Tarangire River, spotting wildlife such as lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and a variety of bird species, before heading to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Tarangire – Serengeti National Park

You depart Tarangire after breakfast and travel through the scenic Ngorongoro highlands toward the vast plains of the Serengeti. Full Day in Serengeti National Park

Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

AAfter a morning game drive in the Serengeti, you begin your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive offers stunning views as you ascend to the crater rim, where wildlife and Maasai pastoral life coexist, before arriving at your lodge overlooking the crater.

Ngorongoro Crater – Karatu / Arusha

You descend early into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive in this UNESCO World Heritage Site. The crater floor is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including black rhinos, lions, elephants, and hippos. After lunch, you ascend from the crater and drive to Karatu or Arusha for overnight.
