Pickup from your hotel in Arusha and depart by road to Lake Manyara National Park with packed lunch. The diverse habitats of Lake Manyara National Park range from its Rift Valley soda lake to dense woodlands and steep mountainsides, an ideal safari destination for those on honeymoon. The park is famous for its tree-climbing lions and vast elephant herds. The shores of the lake, encrusted with pink flamingo, attract more than 400 species of birds. Large herds of buffalo, cheetah, Masai giraffe and impala roam the lake shores and valley slopes. Overnight at Jambo campsite or similar.
After breakfast drive to Ngorongoro Crater. The driving distance is only 80 Kilometers (1.5 Hours). The crater is one of the largest intact volcanic Caldera in the world, the crater floor offers game viewing to homely permanent population of more than 30 000 animals, and is one of the only places in Africa. Large grazing animals such as wildebeest, buffalo, gazelle and zebra that depends on the open grasslands in the crater. Attracting predators, the black- maned lion, the leopard and hyena. The elephant found are the lone males. The Fever Tree forests shelter monkeys, bushbuck and waterbuck and the few black rhino that have taken refuge here. A soda lake attracts water birds, including flamingo's and is a favorite place for predators to make their kill. Wildly beautiful as it is, it is not surprising that Ngorongoro Crater has been called a Garden of Eden. Enjoy a full day game drive in the crater floor.
