This experience is a full-day tour that combines wildlife, adventure, and relaxation in one complete journey through the Samaná Peninsula. Instead of focusing on a single activity, travelers explore several of the region’s most iconic highlights in one well-organized itinerary.
From January to March, the tour includes the opportunity to observe humpback whales in their natural habitat in Samaná Bay. Outside of whale season, the experience focuses on Samaná’s scenic landscapes and natural attractions.
The tour also features a horseback ride through tropical trails to the impressive El Limón Waterfall, followed by free time on the white-sand beaches of Cayo Levantado (Bacardi Island). A traditional Dominican lunch, professional guides, and organized transportation ensure a smooth and memorable full-day experience.

Samaná Bay is one of the most important whale-watching destinations in the Caribbean. Each year from January to March, humpback whales migrate to these warm waters for mating and calving. During the tour, travelers will have the opportunity to observe these majestic marine mammals in their natural habitat while learning about their behavior from the guide. Whale sightings are seasonal and depend on natural conditions.

El Limón Waterfall is one of the most famous natural attractions in the Samaná Peninsula. This impressive 60-meter (197-foot) waterfall cascades into a natural pool surrounded by lush tropical vegetation.
