A unique experience of being able to learn traditional Laotian cuisine in nature with only what nature offers to cook
With the help of our native facilitator from the KHMU tribe, you will discover the unique exotic edible plants of the primary forest of Laos, pick them and then learn to cook the typical dishes of Laotian culture. Bamboo is the raw material of Laotian cuisine and you will learn it.

What to expect
You will delve into the primary forest of Laos (10 min walk) to our carbet where you will learn how the tribes cook using bamboo, stone and other forest products.
You will also make your own eating chopsticks and glass (made of bamboo) which you can take home as a souvenir.
