    El Castillo is an iconic structure with a buttress at the back that extends toward the cliff, offering a striking view. Though weathered by time and the elements, the stucco panels at the back of El Castillo still present an imposing sight, even in their diminished state.

    The Temple of the Frescoes is one of Tulum’s most significant buildings. Perched above a fresh cenote, it was built in phases, with the original small structure now serving as the innermost room.
