I have decided to make the bicycle my means of transportation in my daily life, so I have been able to get to know the city in detail and it is precisely what I invite you to know: a green, modern, cosmopolitan and super important, historical city.
In addition to being a bicycle and nature enthusiast, I am a general history lover and a superhost with more than 1,200 reviews on Airbnb, so I would like to share with you my experience, as well as relevant data from both Guatemala and all the countries represented in squares.
In addition, I studied tourism business administration at university, so I plan to put all my academic and professional experience at your service.
The cycle path will take us to places full of nature and historical value.

The start of the tour is at 17 Avenida Zona 14, directly opposite Antari 14. From here we leave with the bikes looking for the cycle path to start the tour. The best option to get to the starting point is Uber, it will not be expensive to travel being in a central area.
MEETING AND DEPARTURE POINT. We met at the Starbucks outside Oakland Mall from where we took a straight street to Reforma Avenue from where we drove to Plaza Obelisco to begin our tour.
1. OBELISCO SQUARE. The first stop on Avenida Las Américas is at the Plaza del Obelisco, where we will find a monument to the heroes of independence.
2. MONUMENT TO SIMÓN BOLÍVAR. The second point is the monument to one of the most relevant characters in the history of Latin America, the hero of the independence of several South American countries, Simon Bolivar.
3. PLAZA COSTA RICA. One of the most beautiful squares on the tour where you will find a beautiful mosaic representing Costa Rican culture.
4. PLAZA CHILE. A small square but with a lot of historical value.
5. PLAZA COLOMBIA. Another of the most beautiful and largest squares on the route with interesting artistic monuments.
6. PLAZA HONDURAS. Small but cute square that has interesting monuments and geometric shapes.
7. PLAZA ARGENTINA. One of my favorite squares where you can see the flag of the South American country complemented by the blue of the sky.
8. MEXICO PLAZA. One of the largest squares on the tour where we can learn about one of the most important characters in Mexican history.
9. EL SALVADOR SQUARE. Small square where we can learn about the history of this resurgent and beautiful country.
10. PLAZA CHILE - O'HIGGINS. Small square, the second in Chile (the only country that has two on the route) that we visited briefly.
11. NICARAGUA PLAZA. Dedicated to the great poet Rubén Darío, we will visit this square with interesting monuments alluding to the writer.
12. DOMINICAN REPUBLIC SQUARE. Brief passage through this beautiful square where we can take the opportunity to take a break.
13. CRISTÓBAL COLÓN SQUARE. Without a doubt the largest square on the route where you can see a complex sculptural work by the Genoese navigator.
14. PERU PLAZA. Nice square that we will also visit briefly on our tour.
15. CANADA SQUARE. Nice square also with interesting artistic works from Canadian history.
16. JOSÉ MARTÍ SQUARE. Plaza dedicated to the great Cuban character where we can learn a little more about his work and legacy.
17. PLAZA URUGUAY. Plaza honoring the Uruguayan military man, José Gervasio Artigas, and we will learn about his contributions to the independence of the United Provinces of the Río de la Plata.
18. PLAZA ECUADOR. One of my favorites, we will be able to see a beautiful mosaic representing the sister nation of Ecuador, as well as a nice detail of its fauna.
19. PLAZA CLEMENTE MARROQUÍN. The only square not alluding to the theme of Las Américas, dedicated to journalists who fell in the exercise of their profession.
20. BERLIN SQUARE. Nice end to the tour in this huge and very interesting square where we can appreciate pure history related to World War II, as well as the Cold War.
RETURN. We returned to Oakland Mall along the bike path taking another zone 10 path to seek to cover another space for the guest to meet.
