What's Included
Meeting and pickup
The guide will pick you up at a valid address in Montreal (including the civic number, street, and postal code). Please make sure to provide this information when making your reservation.
If no valid address is provided, the default meeting point is: Lionel-Groulx Station, outside the metro, in front of the main door on Atwater Street. An SUV or van will pick you up at this location.
What to expect
You will learn the basic kayaking techniques before heading out onto the water. The guide will accompany you every step of the way to ensure comfort and safety.
Exploring the Lachine Canal Paddle gently through one of the most beautiful urban stretches of Montreal. You’ll pass by historic buildings, green spaces, and may even encounter ducks, herons, and other local wildlife.
Local Interpretation and Anecdotes During the trip, your guide will share interesting facts about the history of the Lachine Canal, its industrial significance, its urban transformation, and the wildlife that surrounds it.
Return to the starting point After about 1.5 to 2 hours of adventure, you will paddle back to the starting point, with memories to cherish (and maybe some souvenir photos, if you wish).
