What to expect

Since our recipe are simple and easy, you can recreate them by yourself for your family and friends after you return to your country.
Ingredients are also easily available in your own country, and are made from plant-based products, this class is appropriate for vegetarians, too.
In addition to making Mochi and Wagashi, we will also introduce the history of Mochi. We will teach you various ways to eat Mochi.
In my lesson, you can learn how to make mochi using glutinous rice flour.
Using the mochi you will learn how to make strawberry Daifuku (Out of Strawberry season, we use Pineapple or Kiwi), and Dango (mochi balls in a skewers) + two kinds of "Nerikiri wagashi"—traditional Japanese sweets. (Motifs will be changed according to the season.)
You will learn how to shape the dough into a seasonal motif. The dough is made and colored in advance but you will have access to the tutorial video)

After the lesson, you can taste your creations with a bowl of matcha green tea which you make along with my guidance, or take them with you in a special box.
