Art for Lunch is a platform born to bring people closer to art and art closer to people to foster conversations about the work and topics often missed in gallery settings. The mission is to build meaningful connections between Mexico City's rising artists, early collectors, art enthusiasts, and the culturally curious.
During this meticulously curated experience, attendees immerse themselves in the city's creative scene by visiting artists in their studios. We explore their personal stories, anecdotes, and artistic processes, gaining a broader understanding of the individual and their craft. We also get to enjoy local projects that bring their unique flavor to the city’s culinary landscape.
Past editions of Art for Lunch have showcased the talents of artists such as Andrea Bores and Arantxa Solis with the collaboration of local winemakers Vino de Acá and coffee experts Fuego& Café.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
This is a small coffee shop with the sign "Fuego & Café" on the door.
We will finish in an artist's studio in the next neighborhood, you can come back to our departure point within a 30-minute walk, or a 10-minute uber ride.

We will visit La Nao Gallery and meet the artist in residence to get to know more about them, their inspiration, and the stories behind their work. We spend 90 minutes in the artist studio and the commute to the next spot is usually around 15 minutes.

We will visit a second artist in their studio to get to know more about them, their inspiration, and the stories behind their work. We usually spend 90 minutes at the artist's studio. After we are done if you wish to go back to the meeting point the way back will be around 15 minutes.
