    The we will start this unforgettable adventure by crossing the bridge to the main entrance of the Angkor Wat temple and admire the stunning sunrise over Angkor Wat and surrounding temple.     This terrace is on north side of the Terrace of the Elephant - aligned with it but standing separate. it's the highest part of the terraces that surround the Royal square of Angkor Thom. Constructed in the late 12th century during the reign of Jayavarman VII, this terrace was named after the statue that stands on it. When it was discovered, the moss and discoloration gave the statue a look of a person with leprosy.
