Parque Eduardo VII

Obidos
The medieval village of Óbidos is one of the most characteristic and well preserved in Portugal. Obidos had a strategic importance in the territory. Already occupied before the Romans arrived on the Iberian Peninsula, the village became more prosperous from the moment it was chosen by the royal family. Since King D. Dinis offered her to his wife D. Isabel, in the century AD. XIII, became belonging to the House of Queens that, throughout the various dynasties. Nazare
Fishing and summer village located approximately 1h30 north of Lisbon q and which is known for its huge waves (November to January). The sea is very important to the economy and culture of this people. In fact, the great essence of this village is related to fishing, although today tourism is its main activity. The costume of the Nazarene women (Women of Nazareth) is another curiosity of this village: they wear seven skirts, a colorful vest and a black cloth around the head. Ideal place for a fish meal.
