    Tsutenkaku – Landmark of Shinsekai & Birthplace of Kushikatsu Walk through Shinsekai under the watch of Tsutenkaku, the iconic tower that defines this neighborhood. Built over a century ago, this area was created as a lively entertainment district inspired by Western culture, giving it a unique character still felt today. Shinsekai is also known as the birthplace of kushikatsu, where Osaka’s famous deep-fried skewers became a local favorite.
