  Batu Caves Murugan Statue (Tamil: முருகன் சிலை; Bahasa Malaysia: Tugu Dewa Muruga), is a 42.7 metres (140 ft) tall statue of the Hindu god Murugan at Batu Caves in Selangor, Malaysia.[1][2] It is the tallest statue in Malaysia and the second tallest Murugan statue in the world[3][4] (after the Salem Muthumalai Murugan Statue in Tamil Nadu,India).

  Sri Shakti Temple

  The Temple The Temple is built in strict conformance to the prescriptions of sacred Hindu Vedas and Aagamas. For example, the layout of the Temple integrates three concentric corridors which serve to guide devotees in a tranquil procession that culminates in the Main Moolasthanam (sanctum sanctorum). Amongst its other unique features is a strikingly conceived island which has adopted a rare sculptural technique known as Thundu Pattirippu Pathroba Pathram. This fine and delicate technique is customarily not employed in current temple construction, even in India, due to its high degree of complexity, and, was inspired by the shrine of Sri Subramanyar in the Bragatheeswarar Temple Complex (Peria Kovil) in Tanjore, South India. Helmed by the iconic Shivasri A. P. Muthukumara Shivachariyaar, a renowned national and regional spiritual and religious Hindu leader, the Sri Shakti Temple is not just another place of worship, but one that will stand as a prominent Hindu landmark in Malaysia.

  Bukit Melawati (Melawati Hill) at Kuala Selangor was the administrative center and stronghold of the Selangor Sultanate in the late 18th and early 19th century. A heavily fortified fort once stood on the summit. It was built during the reign of Sultan Ibrahim from 1782 to 1826 to fight against the Dutch. Selangor had been sucked into the struggle between the Dutct amd the ruler of Johor and Riau. The fort fell to the Dutch in 1784, renamed it "Altingsburd Fort" after they did not hold it for long. Sultar Dutch governor-general. Butn Ibrahim recaptured the fort in January 1785 in a daring night attack with the aid of warrior from Pahang and mercenaries from Permatang. The victory was significant. It was the first time that a local Sulatn had been able to retake his fort from a foreign power. In Bukit Melawati are found relics of the past, including the protective walls of the fort,

  Kuala Selangor Fireflies (Kelip-Kelip in Malay) belong to the family Lampyridae and are members of the largest order in the insect kingdom, Coleoptera. Lampyrids have fascinated man for centuries and have become part of his mythology, folklore, fashion, medicine and literature. The feature that makes fireflies attract the interest of scientists and appeal to even the most casual observer, and the one which earns them their name, is their ability to produce a fascinating display of light. This light is used as a means of sexual communication between the males and females of a particular species.
