We will inform travelers to be ready at the hotel lobby 10 minutes prior to starting time. We can pick them up from any hotel in Yogyakarta.

After being picked up from the hotel, travelers will head directly to Setumbu Hill to see the sunrise. A light hiking exercise is expected as we need to go to the top of the hill. If the air is clear, enjoy a scenic visuals of sunrise with Borobudur seen as background from afar. The commuting time is included in total duration.

After watching sunrise, travelers head to Candirejo to start village tour. Our driver will take you directly to Pendopo Bu Condro which serves both as basecamp and starting point. Travelers can opt to do walking, cycling or dokar (traditional horse carriage) tour. A local guide will show travelers around the village and visit some local specialties as craft and traditional food making. At the end of the tour, travelers will gather back to enjoy coffe/tea break and light traditional snacks (jajan pasar) while learning gamelan at Pendopo Bu Condro.

After finishing village tour, travelers head to Borobudur to explore the biggest Buddhist temple in the world. Our driver would take travelers to the ticket booth. Afterwards, an experienced temple guide will accompany travelers to climb up the levelled structure while explaining about the history of the temple and the relief engraved at the stone wall.
