As you board the luxury passenger van, you will be instantly treated like a celebrity. Leather seats and a comfortable ride await you. As we pick up other guests around the city, you will be given a mini-tour of the city or you may watch a film about other plantations to prepare you for your tour. While you are on the van, be prepared to be entertained by the driver! You will not just sit in silence.

Pickup for the tour will typically be between 8:00am - 8:45am, depending on the size of the group and number of pick-up stops. Driver's estimated time of arrival to your location will be relayed the morning of the tour. Please be sure to provide your cell number for the quickest communication.

Here you will spend about 2.5 hours on the plantation grounds exploring a national historic landmark. Go behind the scenes and learn the real stories of plantation life. Whitney tells the story of life through the eyes of the enslaved people who lived and worked there. It also includes the history of the early owners, the Haydel family.

Laura Plantation: Louisiana's Creole Heritage Site (Pass by)
Laura is a French Creole plantation that was run by four generations of French Creole women.

This historic site is dedicated to preserving and interpreting the history its inhabitants left behind. With an emphasis on its time as a working sugarcane plantation and view the iconic Allee of Oak Trees.

To close out the day, you will take a 45-minute ride back to the city on the Bonnet Carre Spillway Bridge overlooking Lake Pontchartrain before heading back to your hotel.
