What to expect

After a brief lesson on useful Japanese phrases for travelers, we will proceed to making a traditional Japanese-style home-cooked bento lunch. You will be able to enjoy a well-balanced meal with various dishes packed into one bento box.
Instead of chicken, a plant-based alternative will be used to prepare Karaage, a popular dish in Japan enjoyed by both adults and children.
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to make Onigiri (rice balls) and Tamagoyaki (Japanese omelette).

  • Public transportation options are available nearby
  • The car used for transportation does not have a child seat installed.
  • You are welcome to bring young children who are below the target age group. However, we regret that we are unable to provide the activity and meals for them. Please consider sharing meals with other participants or preparing meals for them in advance.
  • Meet at the meeting point and pick up and drop off all participants. The meeting point is a 3-minute walk from Sagami-Ono Station. The detailed location will be provided after the reservation is confirmed
  • Not recommended for travelers with allergies to eggs, soy, or sesame, because they will be used In this lesson.
  • Not recommended for travelers who are not feeling well, such as those with a fever, cold, or stomach ache, because this is a cooking class.
