Seki city in Gifu is one of the three major cutlery-producing regions in the world and boasts the highest cutlery production volume in Japan. Seki's cutlery has inherited skills and techniques with a tradition of more than 800 years. Even today, it continues to produce high-quality blades rich in functionality and design by integrating traditional techniques with the latest technology. You might also find something new here.

Visiting at Sword-smith craftsman working shop in Nosyudo where is renowned for its exceptional craftsmanship in producing Japanese Swords, you can feel Japanese Samurai and Sword-smith's spirit. Even through the era of using swords has passed, modern sword-smiths continue to pour their passion into sword making. Through their skills and artistry , they convey the history and culture of Japan to present day. This provides a valuable opportunity to deeply understand Japanese history and culture along side the Art of Sword. And then at the Dojo in Nosyudo, you will change into Samurai attire and, under the guidance of an instructor, have a Samurai experience using a real sword. After mastered one of the Samurai form, take your video as a memory of experience.
After travel at Seki in Gifu, return back to Gifu station and drop off.
