What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Pickup is available from selected hotels and accommodations within a 15 km radius of Cape Town. Please be ready at your pickup point at least 10 minutes before the scheduled time. Final pickup details will be confirmed the day before your tour.
Guests staying outside this radius will still be accommodated with the same pickup arrangement. Please note this is a shared transfer and may include multiple stops along the route.
What to expect
Your whale watching adventure begins with a convenient hotel pickup in Cape Town, followed by a scenic drive to Hermanus in a comfortable shared minibus. Along the way, your guide will share interesting information about the region and the whales you may encounter.
Upon arrival at Hermanus New Harbour, you'll receive a short safety and whale briefing before boarding a specially designed catamaran.
Enjoy a 2-hour boat-based whale watching experience, where you'll have the opportunity to see southern right whales, as well as humpback and Bryde's whales (season permitting). You may also spot dolphins, Cape fur seals, African penguins, and a variety of seabirds while your onboard guide provides fascinating commentary throughout the cruise.
After the boat trip, you'll have some free time to explore Hermanus before rejoining the shared transfer for the scenic return journey to Cape Town.
