We will explore the most emblematic destinations of the otaku culture: Akihabara, Nakano Broadway, Ikebukuro and Odaiba.
We will start in Akihabara, where we will observe the maid cafes, tour old electronics stores and visit the iconic Radio Kaikan building. We’ll also explore Gigo’s recreational rooms, and discover anime and manga figures and items.
Then, we head to Nakano Broadway, a vintage paradise filled with stores specializing in retro collection products. Here you will find unique treasures.
Next, in Ikebukuro, we will visit the Mega Pokémon Center, try our luck in Gachapon Hall. We will also visit the Capcom Café, where the dishes are inspired by iconic video game franchises.
Finally, in Odaiba, we will admire the impressive statue of Gundam Unicorn, an icon of Japanese pop culture.

We will finish the tour on the artificial island of Odaiba
In Akihabara, we will visit several highlights. First, we will explore the famous maid cafes, where you can enjoy a unique and fun atmosphere. Then, we will tour the old electronics stores, where you will find retro gadgets and devices. We will also visit the iconic Radio Kaikan building, full of otaku shops. We can’t forget Gigo’s huge recreation rooms, perfect for enjoying video games. In addition, we will show you the most impressive figures and articles of anime, manga and video games. An unforgettable experience for Japanese pop culture lovers!
Kanda Myojin Shrine: The Kanda Myojin Shrine is famous for being a temple dedicated to anime and otaku culture in general. Enjoy the quiet atmosphere and take the opportunity to take some photos.
Take the train from Akihabara to Ikebukuro (approximately 15-20 minutes on the Yamanote line). Sunshine City: Visit this resort that includes shops, an aquarium and an observatory, plus at Ikebukuro Sunshine City you'll find Japan's largest Pokemon Center and Gachapon World, Japan's largest Gashapon store. If we have time, you can consider climbing up to the observatory on the 60th floor of the building (price of 1000 yen, not included in the price of the guide) to see the panoramic views of Tokyo. Otome Road: Explore this area known for its focus on anime and manga, especially for girls.
Take the train to Nakano (approximately 15-20 minutes from Ikebukuro). Nakano Broadway: This mall is an otaku paradise, with figure shops, sleeves, and collector's items. Stroll through its corridors and enjoy the variety.
From Nakano, return to Ikebukuro and take the train to Odaiba (you can use the Yurikamome Line to enjoy the views of Rainbow Bridge). Gundam in Odaiba: Visit the giant statue of Gundam at DiverCity Tokyo Plaza. Take some time to take pictures and explore Gundam's shop, where you can find a variety of models and souvenirs.
