Built in the 16th century by samurai leader Toyotomi Hideyoshi, the castle was a key fortress during the Japanese Civil Wars. Its main tower, which offers panoramic views of the city, is one of Osaka's most renowned symbols. In addition, the castle is famous for its beautiful gardens and its location in an extensive park, which in spring is filled with cherry blossoms, creating a spectacular landscape. Over the centuries, the castle has been destroyed and rebuilt, but it remains a testament to the greatness and history of the city.
