    Mount Batur Sunrise Trekking is one of the most popular outdoor activities in Bali, offering a rewarding mix of adventure, natural beauty, and cultural atmosphere. Mount Batur is an active volcano located in the Kintamani region, about 1,717 meters above sea level. The sunrise trek usually starts very early in the morning so hikers can reach the summit in time to watch the sun rise over Bali’s dramatic landscape. Start time: Pick-up from hotels is typically around 1:30AM, with the hike beginning around 3:30 AM. Duration: The hike takes about 1.5–2 hours to reach the summit, depending on pace. Difficulty: Moderate. It’s suitable for beginners with reasonable fitness, though the terrain is rocky and sandy in some sections.
