  Villa Balbianello is one of the most spectacular places on Lake Como, an extraordinary marriage of architecture and lake views. In the past it was Villa of Cardinals and noble families, today it is the property of the FAI and can be visited every day except Monday and Wednesday. The Villa can be reached on foot from Lenno (about 20 minutes walk), by shuttle or private boat. The Villa has been made famous in recent years for hosting scenes from Star Wars and Casino Royale.
