Meeting and pickup

Meeting point

Your meeting point will be Café Doce Cuarenta, located at C. Francisco I. Madero 1240, Zona Central, 23000 La Paz, B.C.S. Please arrive by 10:00 am. The Akampa staff will be there to welcome you, wearing green Akampa t-shirt uniforms so you can easily identify them.

    Day 1

    Arrival at Bahía Magdalena and Welcome to the Camp

    The adventure begins in La Paz, BCS. Transportation will pick us up at the agreed departure point and take us to Bahía Magdalena. From there, we’ll head to the camp, where we’ll be waiting for you with a smile and a delicious meal. That same day we’ll settle in, and at night, we’ll enjoy our first campfire while a biologist shares everything we need to know about the gray whale.

    First Ocean Safari and Dunes Experience

    We wake up early to watch an unforgettable sunrise, coffee in hand. Then we’ll head out on the first Ocean Safari in search of gray whales. In the afternoon, we’ll make ceviche in the dune area and enjoy the sunset. We’ll close the day with a gathering around the campfire.

    Second Ocean Safari, Community Oyster Farm, and Starry Night
