Meeting Point Information On the day of the tour, your guide will be waiting at your hotel lobby or entrance at 10:00 AM, which is 30 minutes before the tour starts. You will receive the guide’s contact information in advance. Hotel pickup is available only for hotels located within a 30-minute train ride from Osaka Castle. Guests staying at hotels farther away will be asked to meet directly at Osaka Castle. If your hotel is more than 30 minutes from Osaka Castle and you would still like to request pickup, please contact us in advance. We’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
Meeting Point: In front of Lawson Osaka Castle Park Rest House (near Otemon Gate). Take Osaka Metro Tanimachi Line to Tanimachi 4-chome Station (Exit 9). Walk straight toward NHK Osaka, cross the street, and enter through Otemon Gate. Lawson is on the left. Look for our guide holding a sign.
The final stop is Sumiyoshi Taisha where we will disband.
You will learn the following at Osaka Castle: ・The construction of Japanese castles; ・The life of Hideyoshi Toyotomi, one of the renounced samurai-daimyos in the 16th century
This place is one of the busiest areas in Osaka. You can enjoy shopping or eating Japanese traditional dish such as sushi and "Okonomiyaki (savory local pizza)."
After lunch, you will visit Kuromon Ichiba Market.
