Around 7 am, begin your journey with a morning departure from Hanoi to Sapa by comfortable sleeping bus for 4.5-5 hours.
Upon arrival, our friendly local guide will pick you up from the bus office in Sapa. Then, we'll enjoy delicious local lunch & check-in to your hotel.
At 2:30 pm, begin your afternoon trek from Sapa town to Cat Cat Village, a 3-kilometer downhill walk surrounded by breathtaking views of terraced rice fields & misty mountains. Along the way, enjoy photo opportunities of lush valleys & the vibrant town dotted with traditional stilt houses. Arriving at Cat Cat Village, immerse yourself in the daily life of the Hmong people. Highlights include: - Hydropower Station & Cat Cat Waterfall: Learn about this French-built marvel, enjoy the tranquil sounds of cascading water. - Traditional Crafts: Watch local artisans create intricate hand-woven fabrics, silver jewelry, and hand-forged tools. - Cultural Performances: Engage with Hmong culture through lively traditional dances & music. - Local Workshops: Try your hand at weaving or learn about natural dyeing techniques using indigo plants. - Street Food & Handicrafts: Stroll through the village market, where you can taste local delicacies & shop for unique souvenirs.
05:30 pm: Return to the town. The 4-kilometer return trek offers a new perspective as you ascend, passing through quiet trails & vibrant greenery. 07:00 pm: Enjoy a cozy dinner and have free time to take rest & hang out in Sapa town at night.
7 am: Wake up early to enjoy fresh mountain air & enjoy breakfast to warm up body before the adventure. 8:30 am: Ready for a trek to Y Linh Ho Village, a serene destination known for its stunning 100-year-old terraced rice fields carved into the mountainside. The trail offers breathtaking views of lush valleys & flowing streams, perfect for capturing unforgettable photos. We ensure to show the best of what Sapa can offer, ensuring that you'll have a great time with detailed insights into Vietnam's history, culture & people.
Continue to Lao Chai Village, the heart of the Hmong community. Immerse yourself in their daily life, learn about traditional farming techniques, and observe how locals skillfully craft textiles dyed with natural indigo. We're not only local experts but also passionate photographers who capture every unforgettable moment of your adventure. 12 pm: Break for local lunch surrounded by sweeping views of the valley.
The journey then leads to Ta Van Village, a picturesque community shared by the Hmong & Giay people. Along the way, marvel at bamboo groves, meandering rivers, and simple rural charm. In Ta Van, experience the warmth of local hospitality as you join a Giay family for an authentic homestay. Learn to cook traditional dishes, share stories, and enjoy a meaningful cultural exchange under the stars.
7 am: Start your morning with a peaceful outdoor breakfast, soaking in the panoramic views of terraced rice fields. 8:30 am: Start to trek through an enchanting bamboo forest, listen to the sounds of nature & discover hidden streams flowing through the landscape. The trail leads to Giang Ta Chai Village, home to the Red Dao people, where you’ll experience their unique culture & traditions. Stop by the picturesque Silk Waterfall, a tranquil spot perfect for photos or a refreshing pause. Marvel at how the locals have harmonized their lives with the surrounding natural beauty. Take a well-deserved break with a picnic lunch, enjoying the serene views of the mountains & valleys. As you continue the trek back to the main road, pass through vibrant landscapes dotted with wildflowers & rustic paths used by locals for generations. Otherwise, we can catch a car/mini van back to the town!
2 pm: Return to Sapa town. Relax & freshen up with a shower at the hotel before departing. At 3 pm, we’ll arrange a shuttle to take you to the bus office, assist with your check-in, and send you off with a packed sandwich for the road. Expect to arrive in Hanoi around 7:30pm.
